みなさん、こんにちは。(minasan, konnichiwa.) Hello, everyone!

Welcome to your next Japanese mini lesson. Let’s get started!

This week we’re going to practice how to tell someone what you’re going to do today.

Here are some examples:

  • 朝ごはんを食べます。 Asa gohan o tabemasu. → I will eat breakfast / I eat breakfast.

  • コーヒーを飲みます。 Kōhī o nomimasu. → I will drink coffee / I drink coffee.

  • 渋谷に行きます。 Shibuya ni ikimasu. → I will go to Shibuya / I go to Shibuya.

  • 買い物をします。 Kaimono o shimasu. → I will go shopping / I shop.

  • ホテルに帰ります。 Hoteru ni kaerimasu. → I will return to the hotel / I return to the hotel.

  • テレビを見ます。 Terebi o mimasu. → I will watch TV / I watch TV.
